    Fog lights ready.

Cluster done as well. Yellow needles, tach strip, and black rings.

Driveshaft arrives this Fri or Sat.

Black rings came out nice, thanks. I screwed up on the tach strip though. Put them on without giving room for when the cover goes on. The last small ones between 5k-6k don't even show. Oh well.

I've been trying different yellows for a while now. I think i'll stick with this one.

Ok, one other update. While doing my brakes, i notice i am missing one subframe bolt. As i go to replace the other one, that one breaks as well.

Have another look. Ooops, shouldn't be a gap there.

So, I have two sheared off bolts stuck in the threads. I drill a hole in the first one, get an easy out tool in there, get it to bite, then crank too hard and the easy out breaks off inside the bolt. Dammit.

So two options: Remove subframe for easier access to them to drill out an re-tap

or, the R3V way, to run a weld along the seam.

Well, this is r3v afterall. So, i now have my subframe welded on for now. Expecting a motor swap after winter, so the weld will be grinded off and done correctly then.

I followed up with POR-15 on the weld, as well as a few misc spots underneath the car to stop further rust.

Just got a call from Mesa re: the driveshaft. Their rebuilder has none in stock, and no cores to work on. Need to send mine in for them to rebuild. Dammit! There goes another week!

Driveshaft shipped out yesterday, so, all goes well, the car should be back on the road next weekend.

HID's and Bavauto chip installed today.

                  DDM's 35w 5000k slim kit

Drilled some small holes and zip-tied to the cover

Igniter zip tied on the inside

Pass side, yes i need to clean the washer tank:

After installing, the headlight covers are difficult, but end up going back on.

Need to change out the city light now. Any recommendations?

                  100% pleased with my purchase

I'm running red city lights in mine. I bought the color set though, so I also have green, blue, yellow, and orange.

Every day I wake up we drink a lot of coffee and watch the CNN
Every day I wake up to a bowl of clover honey and let the locusts fly in.
                      Lobsterbacks attack the town again
Wrap all my things in aluminum
Beams of darkness streak across the sky
Pink rays from the ancient satellite
Every time I look out my window same three dogs looking back at me.
Every time I open my windows cranes fly in to terrorize me.

                        Parts are almost all in!!!

-driveshaft arrived at the shop today
                        -fog bulbs arrive tomorrow
-and these misc parts were at my door when i got home

The body man at the shop was kind enough to paint my brake ducts black for me. Expect work pics on Saturday. I'm so excited. Three weeks is too long to be without my girl. I don't know how i'm going to cope next year when i do the motor swap.

Nice. What diff do you have now?

My buddy has a 3.73 lsd and the difference between that and my 4.10 is huge. You'll like.
