      how was the e30 to live with on such a trip?

      did you do all of your other trips in an e30 as well?

          it was fine, i was a little nervous but it has a lot of recent work/upgrades. u joint on the steering column is tight, and the drivers side rear wheel bearing is getting noisy, also the eibach rear sway needs some grease. it was a great cross country car. my previous two trips were done in a toyota corolla, which has been replaced with a mini cooper s, might be taking the cooper on the same trip next summer if i fly home to pick it up!!

            Someday I will do this trip...DC to Hollywood!

                      Done the drive between Michigan and Colorado a bunch of times. I gotta say, Kansas is just fine. It's OHIO that sucks (especially when coming back from down south)!

                        Awesome Trip! Good choice on bringing bikes. I love road trips. Is your car a swapped car?
