So yesterday, after a crazy and sleepless week, I attended the drifting qualifier for the 2009 Florida Professional Drifting Series. 50 drivers as far as from Jacksonville (and I even think one or two out of state) came to compete. Drivers that competed in NOPI, Formula D, and other regional competitions were among the list.
All said and done, I tied for first place in points along with two others who pulled 3 perfect runs. One of those was Estie Falero: my boy who took first place in NOPI Miami this year (and who helps me out with my car most of the times).
So it was a huge blast to finally get my car to drive an event and back, and perform great all day.
But enough of that.... the good stuff. I bought an HD camcorder off eBay and I worked with 3 camcorders in total for different angles. Theres plenty of stuff to edit, but heres a quick clip to get things started:
Pictures will be posted as I find them. :)
