I made it! (Warning: Awsome content inside)

So yesterday, after a crazy and sleepless week, I attended the drifting qualifier for the 2009 Florida Professional Drifting Series. 50 drivers as far as from Jacksonville (and I even think one or two out of state) came to compete. Drivers that competed in NOPI, Formula D, and other regional competitions were among the list.

All said and done, I tied for first place in points along with two others who pulled 3 perfect runs. One of those was Estie Falero: my boy who took first place in NOPI Miami this year (and who helps me out with my car most of the times).

So it was a huge blast to finally get my car to drive an event and back, and perform great all day.

But enough of that.... the good stuff. I bought an HD camcorder off eBay and I worked with 3 camcorders in total for different angles. Theres plenty of stuff to edit, but heres a quick clip to get things started:

Pictures will be posted as I find them. :)

Thing sounds mean and looks mean. The e30 m3 spoiler with flap looks very good also.

Very good run and very good e30 rep.

Still the Baddest 4 door whoring e30.

What wheels are you running now?

Very nice. Looks very good especially while going sideways.

Well hurry up and get those pictures up. M20 is still sounding healthy at boost.

Those guys over at sfldrifters need to hurry up and post pictures.

Thats bad ass, congrats bud. Maybe its not the drifting I dislike, but rather the gay ass cars. Because the E30 going around the track looked bad ass.

                          Yo Erick,

Congrats on the point standings... Where was this at? did not look like the typical airport runway. How many more events do you have to run to hold point standings? Glad to see the car ran perfectly for ya though out the event. That right there is a nice feeling in itself Im sure!

BTW what are you doing these days?

Ill be returning to Miami in January to open my bar school on the Beach. Ill have to hit you up! Im stoked to be returning home! Talk soon!

I'm right there with you. I generally don't like drifting, it seems silly, but that E30 looks and sounds bad ass.
