Sister damage finally gone. New dash too!

Ever since my sister wrecked my car (February) I have been on the lookout for a fender. I received my new one Friday night and installed it then (thanks golde30!). I also have been hard at work on replacing the dash (god damn cracks) with a new(er) one with just one or two minor cracks.

QUESTIONS: What bulb do I buy when I want to replace the rear light (the one that comes on when the head lamps are on)??
Also, what can I use on my dash to bring back the nice black color? I need something that WONT dry out because my car is always in the sun (never in garage).

    On to the pics! Enjoy...

What did I do with the old fender? Ah yes, my sister's room. Guess what, she's not home yet!

Last one. It really shows how the dash needs some sort of rejuvenation.

What do ya think? Oh the picture is of me and my friend before we went to Quakecon in Dallas at 3am in the morning. High on caffeine....

Much better, is it actually mounted to her wall? Because that would be awesome.

Nice looking E30. I'd say much better with the newer fender. ;)

I'm creaped out about the QuakeCon thing. My friend who moved to Dallas when to that. I was supposed to go, but I couldn't get off work for long enough to fly down there an back.
The BMW 318 is back. With a vengeance.

Quakecon was awesome. I won an AMD 64bit Socket 939 CPU and Motherboard (retail value $550). You should've come!

About that, I was told body shops can repair my cracked dash and make it look new again, this sounds much better than a swap, but is it true, and if so how good does it look?

What's up with the automatic jokes? Am I the only one on the boards without a manual transmission?

Why dont I have ellips? Well they didn't come stock, and I recently upgraded to H4's with Osram Silverstars.

                    lookin' good.

Autoglym makes some nice stuff for the interior. It's a cleaner/protectant for vinyl, and gives it a nice black look, without making it greasy or shiny. And has a citrus scent too.

Do you know if it would cause the dash to crack due to the sun?

The PO let my car sit out side for most of it's life, that's why the paint looks like total crap. But, thank GOD for this, he had one of those BMW window "sun glasses" in there. That's why the interior is much better.

I'd try to get some stuff on the dash and go for a window cover thing.

I'm not too sure. The best thing is to get a sun visor. It sits in my car, and whenever I goto work and leave the car outisde, I put the visor up.
It's not good for the dash, but also keeps the interior cool. Nice to have tinted windows too.

Hmm.. I used to have a sun visor thing, but I didn't really like it so I got rid of it. I dont know about tinted windows. Would probably look like ass on my car.

Get 50% all around, you wont be able to really tell if the windows are tinted or not.
Mine have 35% all around, and the tinting is not that noticeable.

As for sun visor, yah its not very pretty, but oh well, its for the best.
