i'll be patiently waiting to hear/see results and your overall opinion on the kit. I have set aside a special fund just for these babies and need motivation!

Glad to hear you made some progress on the car finally.

              finally installed. stoked.

got the rears in sunday afternoon, then last night spent some time trying to dial the height in a bit and then aligned it. i also cleaned the hell out of the fender wells.

the front tires were hitting the perches so i had to throw in the only spacers that were available, which were 20s, so theres really no room to get any lower right now, the fenders are already begging for mercy. once i throw some 8s up there and move the 20s out back, ill lower the fronts another 1/2" or so, maybe more.

there is around 1.75" of thread left up front, and maybe 1/4" out back, with both the perch and lower locking ring in, i mat need to get creative to get a bit lower out back when the RSs go on.

i've got them set at half stiff right now and they ride awesome, very supple, but firm. the ride quality is very similar to the billy HDs that were in there, but the rebound seems a little less firm actually, it seems less choppy. i'm in love.

this pic shows how wide the front is with the 20s to clear the perches. yikes.

Damn, I hope you get a good deal on spacers. I'm not sure why anyone would run ANY spacers on stock bcaps. Get those wheelz on already!

you really just dont read do you haha.

front tires didnt clear the perches. not gonna space the fronts and not the rears.

sometimes small details go a long way. ;)

p.s. if you actually LOOK like bill s. preston, esquire my universe will implode.

Hahaha, jerk. No I look nothing like him.

You're correct, I do not read threads much. I don't have time for that! I used to only "read" picture books... Sorry I went back and read it!

been awhile since an update, i havent gotten much done other than small details here and there. i picked up a euro plate tub from abrahams and some other small things here and there.

ive also made some progress on the wheels.

                                205/40 on the 8.5 and 215/40 on the 9.5, Sumitomo HTR+

i still need to refinish the bolts and assemble the other two, and one of them needs a little welding. then they'll get rubbered up and thrown on once I can sort out what size adapters i need to order.

i also spent a little more time on the front suspension cleaning things up that i didn't have time to get to on the initial install. i cleaned and repainted the rotor dust shields and installed new sway bar bushings and brackets. I also managed to shear one of the subframe bolts off inside the unibody of the car. DON'T ASK.
