I think that this is a forum and forums are used to express people's opinions. Just because someone's opinion on a good looking car is different from your own, there is no reason to bash the other person for stating their opinion.

My eta is a total POS, it doesn’t handle, it doesn’t go fast, rarely has tires that aren’t bald and I love the hell out of it. Why? It puts a smile on my face every time I drive it. It will never be used for a track car nor will I ever care if it goes fast. When I was 18 years old I really wanted a fast car, but when you basically lose your license for driving fast the appeal of it all kind of goes out the window. The day that I can afford to drive a fast car on a race track, is the day I will buy a race car. His old BMW is fucking awesome for what it was built for.
+1 I'm pretty new to this forum, and when I saw the pics of this car it was love at first sight. Controversy or not this is his car no one elses car or style. From what I see in his style is someone trying to be somewhat an individual not following the norm or what everyone else likes. More power to you. Everyone on this forum has something they love about there bmw whether it be a sh*t box, rust bucket, or hot rocket. I don't expect everyone to understand some peoples styling or reasoning for it. However, I do expect everyone who joins this forum to have a common love of our cars whether its an e28 rat ride or m-tech e30, and don't just come here to bash on other peoples rides. :)

I'm not talking shit, it's a great looking car. It's just annoying for all the responses of "OMG, HOW ORIGINAL!!" which the OP appears to really enjoy sucking in, when in reality it's all been done before. In my honest opinion, it would be infinitely more gorgeous in bone stock form with just the suspension and wheels, as I'm sure most of you would agree if given the chance to see such.

I also agree, but I guess that wasn't his goal to begin with. I've seen many stock e28 that only have wheels and a drop all of them gave me wet dreams at night.

Yes it's been done...But not on BMW's really. He's just bringing something new to the group and you either hate it or love it.

Jeez, I think the car looks good, I just wish the paint wasn't so clean, but still looks nice!

I like the theme you went with, shows some style.

And STRETCHED tires do serve a purpose, the prevent less side wall flexing when turning, makes the car feel a lot more "solid", I would prefer running stretched tires over normal sized tires.

But I don't know what it is about the typical BMW owner, that if its not OEM, then its not cool..... o well, different strokes for different folks.

So I am curious, will the rest of the car be "rusted" out, or just the hood? I mean, maybe the trunk and top of the car as well? Hood sticks out as it's rusted and the rest of the car isn't.... i don't know...
