dont know why everyone, includeing myself, gets so heated over these things. like i said in another thread about my car this whole forum is about having your own opinion. I think you may be on to something here. Dont listen to these guys, they have a very narrow vision of what should be done to these cars in terms of mods. You should really head over to www.E30tech.com I think you will be more at home over there...

honestly, it wouldn't look too bad if the hood stripe followed the natural geometry of the hood, i.e. the trapezoidal raised portion in the middle. The only things that would make it look decent is if the stripe was so far over it didn't overlay the raised part of the hood, or if it somehow followed the diagonal line in the hood. It just looks weird that the car's hood visually "narrows" toward the front, and the stripe stays straight.

ya i am getting rid of them during christmas. i am getting too much attention from the cops.
got pulled over for haveing no licence plate light on my car and then i showed him i have one but it is dim. before he even looked at my ID he knew where i lived. very weird. so i am going to get ride of them to get rid of the attention
