My e30's 1st Autocross!!!

Well after a few months of some maintenance and mods, I decided to take the e30 to the Baylor University Driving Club AutoX in Mineral Wells, TX.

I currently have Billy Sports, FK 60/40 Springs, IE Rear shocks mounts, and a fresh set of front OEM strut mounts rolling on some basketweaves on Yokohama AVID H4S (not too bad for 420 treadwear).

I have never autocrossed the e30 before, and I was quite impressed on how well it handled for being a 20 yr old car. It still has alot more potential and a little driver mod for myself, but I really had fantastic time!

Looking good. Dang I love those 4 doors, look so much more like a classy sleeper. Haven't heard great results about FK springs on track, but hey, work w/ whatcha got.

Wow it sure does roll. Reminds me of my first E30 at the auto-x. Mine was a white 4-door as well. So much fun.

I know, I got a few plans for it, but I only can do a few things at a time. Thanks for the comments. Ohm those avid's are great for touring, but pretty shitty for autox, but they work for now :)

Man I'm so looking forward to bringing my 4dr to the San Deigo X in Dec. Just finished with turner sway kit, it already had IR stage 3 set up. It's unreal.

how do you like the sway bar set up? that is my next thing I wanna do.

I've auto-xed my M3 in that lot. Its not an auto-x, its a mini-track! When I was there the runs were almost 2 minutes long, i think like 2 miles long.

I have put many of my old E30's through Quelcomm. The West course is usually 1-1.5 miles, it's AWESOME.
