    New Car

Edit: See bottom of page for my most current BMW.

I haven't been very active on R3v for a while, my e30 got to the point at which I was just trying to keep it running. Now that I sold it and bought a new bimmer, I'm back on the bmw forums. Although I'm not sure how much time I'll spend around the e30 forums, it seems like the best place for e36 owners is bimmerforums.

Here's some bad driveway pictures, and feel free to flame me for posting a stock e36. It's a '97 328i 5 speed with 112k miles, flawless inside and out (except for that lame texas flag that I have to get off the back). I'm aiming for a car that will be fun to drive on the street, I doubt it will see any track time. Probably won't go further than bolt-ons just because I'm still in school and money is tight. Hopefully I'll be able to make some minor changes before the summer hits.

The pictures were taken just before I left for school on Sunday, it's been snowing since I made it back and I keep running out to clean it off every time the snow lets up.

          Yay, an E36.

At least it has body colored rockers and bumpers.

^Nah 4-doors are the way to go on E36's. Heavy ass coupe doors with sagging door hinges and that damn automatically 'sealing' window feature-- no thanks.

The Texas flag means that it was originally sold out of Classic BMW in Dallas. They put that flag on the back of all their cars.

BTW...good luck getting that thing off without doing any damage to the paint. Especially since its been on there for so long.

Payed $8500, which is a bargain considering the condition. I knew the PO personally, so it was a good move even though I would have preferred a coupe. Although it was a pain to fit my stuff into my e30 when I had to move in and out of school.

I'm going to keep those wheels for the winter, they have brand new Yokohama all seasons on them. For now I might just set out for some contours and maybe get them painted for the summer, unless I can find a good deal on something used. I probably won't have the funds to lower it for a while though.

I'd love to get another E30 when the time is right, but being still in school I can't afford to have two cars and wouldn't want to drive one daily.

Try getting DSII, would look better than contours.

Maybe. I did see a Dakar M3/4 with those painted gunmetal over the summer, they really looked nice and a lot better than stock.

So I haven't been on here in a while, but here are some pics of the M3 I picked up over a year ago to replace that 328i. I still lurk here and occasionally cry myself to sleep thinking of all the alpine e30's on this board.

Bought with 102k miles and has been daily driven the past year up to 119k... I'm looking for another car to make my new DD so I can keep this one nice for the weekends and DE.

Since these pictures were taken the car was rear-ended, but repaired and drives just like it did before the accident. I have since switched to smoked turn signals all-around & removed the splitters up front since I cracked one last weekend. Might go back to clears if I can find OEM clear tails.

Has AA Exhaust, Shark Injector, UUC Short Shifter, H&R Adjustable coil-overs, ZKW Ellipsoids w/HID's & other various mods. Got a set of 8.5" wide DSII's with Pilot Sports for the summer & 7.5" wide DSII's with Blizzak's for winter.
