    Yes.... Basically it's an ultra fine strand and it's capacity is about 75% higher than standard primary wire. the insulating sheath is teflon and I think it's only about 2 mil thick..


    It's a bitch to work with though... You gotta' be really good with a soldering iron because if it gets too hot and you feed it too much it will suck solder way the hell down the wire (makes for a break in the connection down the road).

    I'm pretty sure you are one of the only people on this forum to disassemble sport seats and reassemble them with lighter materials. Maybe you have some close up pics to share? I'm sure a lot of people would be interested.

    Also, I'd like to see what you did with the rear subframe.

    Seat: ABS Shell grafted to the works with closed cell foam rather than high density foam rubber.

    Go to an aviation electrical supply or millitary industrial surplus place for your wire... I think it called TCU Fine Core.

    But don't you need the weight on a plow truck?
