Dude, don't leave just because some people don't believe your claims. You should back them up and prove everyone wrong. Hurry up and post some epic pics that'll get everyone to clam up and admit they were wrong. Your car on corner-weighting scales would be a good start. You might want to wait until your car is nearly out of fuel, though...

              I'm not going anywhere...

I'm just getting tired of plowing through DVD after DVD of images...

I moved a few months ago and they king of got spilled out of the file boxes...

In the spirit of getting shit done... They were re-filed in random order...

                Something like this?

I'm more interested in hearing the methods of dropping so much weight. Pictures aren't so necessary.

                  drilled out cams ~.5 lbs
                  "alloy rivets"~ 1 lb.
reworked sport seats ~ 6 lbs.
                  lightweight wiring ~ 2 lbs.

                  ~10 lbs.
                  +10 lbs. of chassis braces
                  = net zero weight change

The means you have mentioned will not remove 600 lbs. from your car. Your weight claim is bs and your defenses for the claim are even weaker.

Your estimates are a bit off.

A cam weighs about 5-6 lbs, by coring it you can lose 2 (going from sheer amount of material removed)

Have you ever completely stripped a car, put all the hardware in a bucket, and tried to pick it up? It's quite heavy.

Yes, I have. Not including the head bolts it's about 17.5 lbs. I'll try and find a pic.

                      EDIT: Here ya go.

Not to mention that you can't strip all of the hardware off and still have a functioning car.

And the alloy rivet claim is the funniest to me. I'd be willing to bet that any rivet from the factory is already alloy.

                          I'll sit on this...

You have a very narrow view.... I mentioned a very few examples pertaining weight reduction here.

And do you know how many assumptions you've based on bad guesses...

Okay I'll give you one clue

Do you know how much the wiring in an e30 weighs?

...find out and cut that by about 65%

The Nuts and bolts are steel...

Go take off one of your fenders and weigh the screws... you have to cut the captured nut off to weigh it but...

Then go weigh enough av skin rivets to put it back together... The devil really is in the details...
