I believe the company that made that 2-door touring used a MK1 Golf rear door.

It is an E30 Clubman. IIRC only 8 were made.

they were originally made by techs to run parts back and forth in the BMW factory..

what factory in Holland? and you really think BMW factories have the time/ or money to give a bunch of techs the go to put shady carpet and VW parts on a e30???

I don't believe it-- but I am not saying it isnt true, just that it doesnt fly in my book.

heck, most BMW dealers here in Germany have other brand cars to haul crap around-- we have a Mercedes car hauler, a Mitsubishi Pajero, and a Range Rover to use as our whores to beat up.

the 8 that were built were made by a dutch company i believe and they are amazing, i think this one and another white one i have seen were produced. There has to be more then just a few. The 8 everyone are talking about are the base ones built like an Alpina car.

The entire industry in Europe was pretty schizophrenic in the 80's and early 90's...

It was like every other country had small plants to rework cars...

Every market was gray because almost every market had different standards and rules...

A lot of strange BMW variants came out of it.
