I like it, first photos posted

I figured I was finally ready to show what I've done to my car, here's a brief history..
I bought the car for $2000 when I was 16. it is/was a 1986 alpine white 325e with tinted windows, aftermarket 5 spokes, sport interior, and an is front spoiler. I bought the car with plans for plastic bumpers and an engine swap.

    brief parts upgrade list:
    bilstein HDs
    bav auto springs
    3.73 lsd
    M30 B34 (from e23 L7)-thanks funk!
    funkmasta motor mounts
    getrag 260

I also one day decided I wanted to paint the car while it was sitting in my garage waiting for the M30, $90 roller job that turned out pretty well imo. I'm very proud of everything I've done to this car. I have learned a lot just going down and tinkering with shit, and would say I did a pretty good job on it all considering Im just a youngin (18) and don't really have any friends who like to do this sort of stuff. I have to thank Joe Funk once again for providing me endless info, parts, and brief employment lol.

let me know what you think,
    Billy

yeah its not fully road ready yet, I still have to splice the c101 and steal the rear bumper strip from my calypso cabby. its hard to take pictures in the garage cause its a tight squeeze but I'll roll it out and try and take some better pics

The interior looks pretty clean. Whats up with the lack of a shifter?

Well, posterity, you will never know what it cost us to preserve your freedom. I only hope that you will make a good use of it. If you do not, I shall repent in heaven that I ever took half the pains to preserve it.

looks pretty good for a project, I agree that a nice buffing will do wonders for that paint.

I miss being elbow deep in my e30. Gotta schedule some more quality time with her. Good work, sir.

Every day I wake up we drink a lot of coffee and watch the CNN
Every day I wake up to a bowl of clover honey and let the locusts fly in.
                    Lobsterbacks attack the town again
Wrap all my things in aluminum
Beams of darkness streak across the sky
Pink rays from the ancient satellite
Every time I look out my window same three dogs looking back at me.
Every time I open my windows cranes fly in to terrorize me.

Just out of curiosity, how'd you paint it?

I am reeeally liking you're car, and I'm no expert but I think you did a fantastic job on the bumper swap, too.

hey e30frost, miss working on your e30? Wanna replace a clutch for me;)
