Huh? My driveshaft was done. I had to get a reconditioned one, and the flex disc had to replace that too. do you want me to take picture of them or what. jesus chirst buddy, I dont know why you insist on being just an ass but its kinda old. VAC never did bill us for the engine work. Tony Salloum never bills anyone, I dont really car about Horsepower readings and shit. Im damn sure there are many fast 325's out there. But I built mine with what I could. and really I didnt spend more money than anyone here because out of this rebuild I got a complete spare car and a complete spare engine ready to be dropped in. So 2 Running cars and an Engine ready for use is pretty damn good for say 8grand which is what it will have cost if tony ever bills us. Seeing how my grandfather was never billed for his 02 engine that was rebuilt in 97' I doubt ill see one anytime soon. Telling me I spent alot of money to make no power isnt worth telling me. because 1, The Dyno i used does read low. Any mechanic thats used it in my area will tell you that, no one knows why nor do they care. 2 I am a kid, Im learning here making fun of me doesnt do me any good. All I am looking for is some straight answers to my questions. Id ask my dad but hes one of those fathers who thinks hes god and is impossible to work with. So ive had to do all the work to my car myself basically. Ive come out with some crazy ideas and goals in the past, so what. You never have a crazy idea? I dont fit in with kids my age car wise. I dont like big stereos or spinning wheels. I dont street race, i think its stupid and proves nothing. I wont participate in the Drag races that other kids my age might do. Me, I go to the track whenever I can and Ive been doing it since i was 4. Now finally this year I will be able to drive on them. Im not asking anyone to like me, or think Im cool. Im not looking for a friend. Im looking for help, and since you know the shit That I havent a clue about I look up to you, because you know and I dont. Making fun of me doesnt help me progress at all, Im a car enthusiast too. Im a 17 year old kid who is not big and not good at any sport besides racing. I cant Catch, Throw, Dribble, Shoot or any of that crap well. Anyway, you understand.
I may have said some out of whack things and shit, but what do I know...basically nothing thats why I am here. If I knew everything about E30's already I wouldnt be here would I? But no one knows everything thats why your all here too, and the fact that its your passion, and hobby. Now why cant I have that hobby too? Why cant cars be my passion as well. Ive been around cars for longer than some people on maybe this board and Bimmerforums. Ive been going to a certain track for longer than some of the Instructors have for drivers schools. Some of the club racers too ive been going to the tracks longer than them as well. What Im saying is just because Im a kid doesnt me you have to treat me like shit, never know maybe i know something you dont. All I want is a little respect, I worked my ass off to rebuild that car and for what? To be critized everytime i open my mouth? Now I could babble on for hours but Ill stop know because I have school tomorrow. And Im going to drive my 153rwhp 325is to and from school and same with the next day. Because powerful or not its quick enough to keep me happy and it starts everytime.
the deal with the Tirerack banner is, my old windshield wouldnt pass inspection. this one was out of a 325 Club car which had to have the Tirerack banner since Tirerack sponsors the events. This was the cheapest one we could find that would pass inspection so we got it for 75$ with an install since we knew the guy. And well Im too frikin lazy to scrape its ass off. I plan to get a new windshield soon. I recenelty got a new chip in it, which up settingly was a rock that went off the hood first leaving a nasty chip. Which I had filled and covered and the place did a really nice job. after a few wax jobs you cant really see it.

I may be sitting on my ass, and anyway from my car. But I did do some signifcant work on my car myself this summer. And eventually going to have to replace all my suspensions bushings, more or less. Which will be done in my driveway, so yeah.Comment
