You might get away with using a tow strap wrapped around a parking garage post.... go easy with that reverse method, work slowly and steadily.

yeah actualy thought of that right after reading the thing about the sledgehammer! haha. i have done that before. worked ok. i think the green people wont be mad if i fined a telephone poll or something.
