High mileage it is. Original it is not. In addition to the suspension it has a built S50 with under 50K total miles. I need to get a full parts list from the owner before the last, and I have not driven it much yet, but I am told that the motor is pretty strong.
I am hoping that by summer of 2013 the car will be where I want it to be. Until then I will have fun with it.
Well, I tried not to stalk it too much, but when you see something like that sitting at the shop, you know, you peek around a little Still a cool ride man
No disrespect but from the looks of that car and the things it needs, I'm surprised to hear it has an S50 in it. WTF? You'd think people would take better care of their cars or at least address the other issues while or before doing a swap.
Enjoy the car man, I know you can't wait to get it all sorted.
perhaps it was S50'd because the car was so rough and it was cheaper than rebuilding the costly S14.

AH I remember this day. That was a nice drive we had down RT1 in MASS. Havent seen you here in a while. glad to see you working on the M3 and the vert is looking great as always.
That was a great day and a great drive. I have been "away" for a while busy at work and some other things. Winters get depressing not being able to drive the cars I enjoy, but at least the pent up energy resulting from the lust to drive can be applied to fixing the M3.
OK, just ordered 4 Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 tires size 235/40/17 from Tire Rack for $49 each closeout. This M3 will ride on turbines within a couple of weeks.
