the way a 318is handles is alot different then the 6cyl cars, remeber the M3 also has a 4 cyl.

Have you ever heard of DEI? Direct Exhaust Injection. Look it up, I think it would work well for you.

If you're gonna come in hear and make ridiculous claims, like your manual rack doesn't have a higher ratio, or your power steering gets "looser" above 5k RPM's, you can expect some shit. The manual rack IS slower, and there is a limit to the flow above a certain rate, so above a certain RPM (say, 1500), your steering effort won't change.

I can take a joke, I never made any claims that it was quicker, an yes the power steering felt loose. I posted a pic and a small list of whats done to the car in a rides section, not a section that says I am god of the E30's. Its a project dude, that means its not finished, I think you want to prove your some guru on the E30, and you might be but you sound like a dick the was your talking. If I want tech info I will post there.

If you like someon's car complement and if you don't like it don't tear it apart cause it isn't what you think is better.

well i re read what I wrote and what you wrote, I never said it was faster, you are the one who through in the steering rates, which I never argued.

you told me info I never stated wrong or asked about.

anyway whatever I build my car the way I want, I don't always follow trends or what other people do. Thats what I like so I do it. I am sure if I looked at your cars I would appreciate the way you have decided to go. I would never say your wrong about what you decided to do, or give my 2 cents as to why its wrong unless I was asked.

I consider a manual steering rack an upgrade. I have never bought an e30 with a rack that didn't leak... and I have bought and owned quite a few e30's.

The steering effort takes some getting used to, but I prefer the feel overall.

What is an upgrade or downgrade is subjective. I don't know why you are giving the guy a hard time. He mentioned what he did to his car and posted a picture.
