    My 325i convertible

    Hey

Im 17 and this is my first car. Im loving it and only hope that it was a manual :( I have done A LOT of maintenance to the car and upgraded parts that were upgradable. The car came with clean paint and 0 rust. Car was in Florida and Puerto Rico untill this summer when i brought it to CT.

Heres a list of what i have done so far all within the last 150 miles
    Racing Dynamics Front Valence
    Spark plugs
    Spark plug/ignition wires
    Distributor and cap
    Ignition Rotor
    Valve Cover Gasket
    Oil pan gasket
All new radiator hoses and intake hoses
All new filters- Fuel, Air and Oil
    Oil Change
OEM motor mounts and tanny mounts
    Bilstein Sports Shocks
    H&R Sport springs
    16x7 MSB Mesh X Wheels
    20mm Spacers
    Stud Kit
New exhuast headers/manifold including new oem cat

    Before rims and suspension

    And how it sits now

Any ideas on what to do next?

    Bruno

pilotskillse30, your car looks very nice, love the aplina rims. It is freezing cold and nasty in CT today so when i get a day with some sun, may be weeks lol, ill take pics around the car

I also replaced the front seats with new oem bmw sport seats. They were recovered, re padded and new shocks. Much better than the ripped and non functioning ones i had

yoni, i would love to do the plastic bumpers, but i dont really mind the diving boards, and may try tuck them in. The chrome helps with the style and look of the car, if it was an earlier one with the huge diving boards i would have already swapped them

thanks for the compliments, lots of sweat and hard work has gone inot the car and i have learned so much, but loving every second of it

          Looking good--

Great choice of first car. If you feel the need to go fast just make sure your at a track and not on the street. I like the direction your going with it.

Thanks, so far i love it and wish there was a track near me, i would be there every weekend, especially now with the suspension. Im not one of those prick teenage drivers, i drive quick when the roads are clear and for short times.

thanks everyone for the comments, glad to see all the hard work is appreciated and my ideas and plans for the car

Is there a valence for the rear for cars with diving boards? I want to add one to not make the car appear half done.

Also want to repaint the black trim, any help or tips on that?

Thanks again, and will keep updating pics as now the maintenance is done, more mods will be coming

Lower this car please!! Especially since it is on 17s.

OP - Looking good so far. Keep everything as is and save up for a manual swap. Then go for ST sways.

are the strut braces worth it? The ones that are in the engine bay that go from the front strut to front strut?

It seems to help quite a bit with cowl shake.

Welcome to R3v, nice to see that at 17 you went for an E30. I really like the direction you're going with this car. Like the way the front valence looks on it. I say save up for a manual swap. Hopefully i'll do mine in the spring. Any interior pics, and was it expensive to bring the car from puerto rico.

I will take interior pics when the weather is a little better, only pic i have is when i fully stripped it

A manual swap and a 3.73 LSD are on the list, but want to get the rear seat re done, its in really bad shape and replace the dash before i get to those

The person i bought it from covered the cost to get it from Puerto Rico to Florida, I flew to Florida and drove it home, while taking many stop on the way. Was a great road trip
