I had a bd-11 on my Taurus SHO, that made 300tq-320hp. It was alot of fun. Problem was its mainly designed to give power in the low range. (ratios catered to the US v8's)
The Yamaha loved to rev (much like the S50 does) As a result it tended to choke up top, and I eventually overspun it. If you ever have problems with it, and dont feel like dumping 500+ for a rebuild, go with a S/T trim vortech. It will give you a much broader range of power, especially through the higher rpms. Its also cooled by engine oil with is much more effeicient.

How much are you into that engine supercharged? I'm just wondering going with a Euro motor would have been close to the same price?

Both: the $ and HP numbers are about the same, s50B32 is 321HP stock and about $7k in price for a low milage example
