just got a fresh painted bumper and valance sitting next to me. a new lip w/splitter from Ary that he hooked me up on! (thanks again ary) complete vynil hood wrap with same pattern i had before and going to have the wheels powder coated...just for you guys! lol

I remember when you said that you hoped to have your car looking as beat as mine did at some point. Nothing wrong with a pure business car... but between a nice car and a beat car, I rather the nice one.

Keep at it kid! We STILL need to organize that tandem. If gas prices are still remotely cheap come spring/summer, I will come up with the $$$ to send my car to the west coast (f*ck driving it this time around :p)

A few that think this is a cool 'style' for an e30:

I spent more money on my PROPER turbo setup and suspension than most people have spent in their entire cars altogether. Let's not start talking about the NEW tires that I've already roasted through.

The only thing I buy from Pep Boys (and that's IF I end up there) is zip-ties. I'm pretty sure I can speak for a lot of people here.

If I had the money to make my car as clean as some you pictured after every race, then by all means.

But in my car, I rather have a car that can f*ck a b*tch instead of just looking like a pampered fruitcake.

So function comes before form. And some of us take care of form when need be.

Yeah dillsnick, you're right. Everyone thinks that kind of E30 styling is cool now. But you forgot one thing. That car with all the shit on the hood is just a pile of shit. Erich's car is actually built for a purpose, and used for it. And it's not to be a show car, or to impress people like you. If you want a forum that's nothing but purist modding and cirle-jerks over how tasteful and conservative an E30 is modded, buy an M3 and go join S14.

This forum is for all E30 owners, regardless of whether or not you think their cars are pretty enough to be here. If you don't like that, you've got 2 options. Just shut the fuck up like you already suggested, or keep talking shit, and I'll shut it for you. The ball is in your court.
