We masked it off but the tape did not stick half way through and the headlight got painted. It was easily fixed with some acetone and a rag.

And as far as the valance it got ripped off by some tow truck driver and I needed something in the place of it quickly so I did that. If anyone has a 87 325is valance that they want to give me for free then I am fine with what I have. I need to fix the cutout I had to cut it out at the track after the car got a little hot.

    Thanks for all the compliments.

Lol, I just noticed that, I've never seen a plastic to DB swap before.

Nice colour. Looks like it has some reverse rake action going on.

Thanks, yeah everyone can't believe I would take off plastic bumpers and put on db bumpers. How is your car coming along, did you get your exhaust done?

What did you use to sand it? Any idea on how long it took?

Good work man. I love looking at paint threads, because I want to try to shoot a few panels myself.

Yeah sorry I couldn't help out all I had was the pos dynomax muffler the previous owner put on the car.

Thanks everyone for the comments, the car took me around 2 weekends to do. Now replacing the damn rear wheel bearing took me two and half weekends. We had to frabricate a puller and a press but it worked out

I sanded with 220 and we had two da's going and a air file. We wetsanded with 220 and then shot the sealant. We also glassed in the sunroof and filled in six holes in the body. It really helps when you have a lot of people helping and at least one person who knows what they are doing. lol
