My best friend was borrowing my car for the day today... his car has a serious coolant leak, so I had no problem letting him borrow the e28. He's the best driver I know, and drives cars much lower than I do on a daily basis, so if there was anyone who I'd let drive my car, it's him.
On his way to come pick me up today, an 18-wheeler pulled out in front of him on one of our main roads. The car went under the truck, so I hope that's some explanation on the damage.
My friend is fine, he just has some broken glass in his clothes and stuff... the car took all of the damage.
It doesn't look like much, and the front is definitely repairable, but the a-pillar damage will total the car without a doubt.

Technically, yes, it could be fixed... but I'd have to section the part out of another car, and it's so much work and so expensive, it's probably not worth it.
The fender damage goes pretty deep. The radiator core support is buckled, as is the inner-body. The damage is worse than it looks, all around.
I loved the car, and came to the conclusion recently that I could probably never sell it... but unfortunately, all good things come to an end.
I dont know whats next, and I dont know what I will do with the car...
I'll have to come back and update once I'm feeling better. I'm being pretty emo about it.
Thanks to everyone who made shit happen, and thanks to the rest of you for the support, rust or not.

Oh, and I do have one trick left up my sleeve.
