The lugs would look better if it matched with any other part of your car. That's the only reason my wheels go so much attention on my M3 was because they matched the color scheme of the rest of the car (red and black).
the wheels would look better if they were black and you had white lugs.

I've seen the red lugs on a few tuners, not ricers (Big difference) and they look interesting. Only with your wheels though. If they were red on like a set of BBS's they would look ghey. Interesting look though, it's always good to be a bit controversial and throw everyone off of their rocker. Just don't over do it and it will turn out very nice.

Yes, more rice there than in allentown, the hartage 135i looks fucking retarted.
this is just nasty, looks like they chopped up a new audi front bumper, went to autozone for some vents and lights and fiberglassed it together, coupled with most knocked off style rims of this decade.
Yes all German tuners come out with this ricey shit, but live on thier legacy. The Hartge 135 is sooo ugly.

red painted calipers would fit with the red lugs--(look like crap) its a bmw for christ sake.
car looks great. I am likimng the 1er more and more-- but only with the "sport package" 95% of the 1er cars here in germany look like crap and are 4 doors.
I wonder, esp since you are living in Germany. Why dont you think the Red lugs belong on a BMW? what if I had LM's or CH's with Red BBS lugs? Would you like that?
I understand if you dont like the way they look or w/e, but why is something BMW specific , or isnt?
You guys are lucky and get the hatch over there. I wish:(

looks very good none the less.
Thanks bro. If I went rear all around id be poking out in the front, lol. It would look sick though minus the insane poke.

Haha, they do look small huh? I never noticed. Thanks.
BTW why dont you like the wheels? Because they are Volk, or the way they look?

I wouldn't paint the calipers, to me its like putting an M badge on a non-M car--putting paint on the calipers doesn't make them stop any better. I would just wait until I could afford a brake upgrade--some Brembos or Stoptechs or whatever. Don't get me wrong, I'm not hating on your idea, just stating what i think. I think the car looks amazing as it is, anyway.

Don't paint anything on your car to make it look better to you, cause if the paint doesn't improve performance than its useless.
Titties indeed and I was thrown by the red lug nuts for a second, but by the second pic I was sold. Very nicely done. Still 50/50 on painting the calipers red though.

you answered your own question in many ways. BBS DOESNT make red lug nuts for a reason.-- for that matter, I have never even seen ANY bmw besides yours with red lugs.
jap cars seem to "need/use" those things more than the true lines of a euro car---- I think--but I am really noone.
I'm not busting your balls-- do what you like -- I dont think it looks that bad, just not my thing.
the hatches are alot more common over here, so actually- I seem to prefer the coupe-- I will have to take a few pics of the 3 door hatch 130i I put together for my work with the performance package stuff-- it is sitting on our showroom floor for the winter.
