    1989 325i Sedan

New to me, 1989 325i Sedan. I purchased this last night it last night. the bad new is it will need a replacement automatic transmission. It has 189,000 miles, the engine runs very smoothly and quiet. I hope to have it on the road within a month.

It also came with a red "m style" wing, I am not sure which one yet, it was dark.it also has a set of 17 inch wheels and low profile tires?

I paid $1270 dollars for it.

take out those floor mats and the seat covers. id rather rock the jagged-exposed-spring-tetanus-infested seats then those crapfest autozone covers.

        Seats vs Seat covers

I have two other sets of tan sedan seats and I will probably put the best of those in.

        Thanks

I did not even notice the back and front bumpers were different? I can't buy right now, gotta my money on replacing the transmission. If you still have the plastic bumper and front valance in a month or so, i will be very interested.

              Thanks

I just wish Red did not draw so much attention. I have a friend with a Bronzit E30, he can speed and never get noticed, but let a RED car try that!

I can hardly wait to get it on the road!

Looks like a good time to do a manual swap :p

Is it just me, or does that car have the early bodystyle valence?

I would love to do a manual swap, but we live in the mountains of Kentucky and I can't convince my wife she can learn to drive a stick in the mountains! She is from Michigan and is afraid of missing a gear or rolling backwards on a mountain road.

I have told her how much better the perform, get better gas mileage, more durable and I have tried all the arguments to persuade her to learn?

As for the early valance? I am not sure, if you are referring to the front? Yes, it has been apparently replaced from an earlier year vehicle?
