        The weight difference shouldn't be that much from an M52 to S62, I'd guess less than 100 lbs. The 528i/T has an aluminum front subframe and it also has rack and pinion steering, it would be cool to make rack and pinion work with the S62.

        I have a friend in Atlanta who did the same thing to his E39iT, I haven't seen the car yet, but apparently it is his Home depot hauler. :D

                      interesting...link? I thought the very reason that an 528iT was not a suitable candidate was due to the aluminum front end, very interesting.
