Thanks for the comment but sadly the paint isnt that fantastic :( well thats in my opinion but im picky hahah. It's going to get a bit more of a freshen up tomoro though and probly a respray towards the end of the year.

The wheels are a hard thing to find because im either going to put a s50 or m60 in it next year, And going to need tyres that will be able to handle the power without being insanely loose. If i have to ill do a 5 lug swap.

Realistically, you're going to need tip-top suspension as well as good tyres to get power to the ground, mate. What springs/shocks/bushes are you running now?

I'd definitely be fronting the cash for an LSD because I can only imagine how much it would suck to drive an S50 E30 in the wet with a peg-legger diff.

Not going too stiff with the springs in the rear (or too low and screwing your roll centres) and getting some really well set-up shocks will help no end. My 325i had Bilstein Sprint shocks with Eibach Sport springs and they were great, but something that made way more difference to how the car put the power to the ground was replacing all the bushes, shock mounts, etc in the rear-end - remove any slop and you'll stand a slightly better chance of getting traction.

Hope that helps. I'll be looking forward to your project. Sounds a lot like the way I'm going (late coupe, twin-cam power, ITBs, 5-lug etc)

Yeah well for suspension wise at the moment its going to be ground control coilovers unless i can find a equivilant over in Aus, along with new poly bushes all around, new rack probly a z3 one. I will definently be putting in a LSD.

Not sure what spring rate im going to go on the coilovers yet my brothers e21 has 400's front and rear and that seems like a nice setting on it. Anyway heres a update pic of what i did last weekend. Fitted a 16 inch davies craige electric fan and got rid of the clutch fan. This weekend shes getting a cut and polish then a wax before tomoro nights cruise. Also a pic of my bros half finnished project e21 hahah.:D

Talk to Heasmans in Sydney for coilover/suspension advice.

They'd be the best people in Aus to talk to.

Thanks for that man ill be sure to contact them when i find out about coilovers, hopefully i can get some that are cheaper than trying to import from the states. I just spent 3 and a half hours working on the e30 washing and cutting it back still only about half way through it. Black cars can be a pain in the ass but at least they look great.

Great looking car man, just a few things I'm curious about. Does that have a specific body kit on it or something? And also how did you do that interior, because if i buy this 318is I'm looking at I'm considering doing the same thing to my interior. Thanks

It just has a iS lip on the front, the interior was imported to aus from Europe and was straight out of a m3, since then all the leather has been re-trimmed on it. You could easily just buy sports seats and get them retrimmed to suit, although i beleive only m3's came with the rear buckets like mine.

Well this probly isnt the best news, im quite pissed off. Yesterday i was on the way home from work in the pooring rain, water came in thru my sunroof when i hit the brakes. Looked down for half a second and ran up the ass of a baby 4x4. Its repairable damage at least and its due for a insurance assessment next week. They should definently repair it. But a very very sad day indeed :( And my e30 looks very sad :(

                                Pic of damage:
