Bronzit with a shitty older repaint on half the car. It looks a lot better in pics than in person :)

Spec E30 suspension = Bilstein Sports, H&R Race springs, ST adjustable swaybars. Plus whatever rear swaybar reinforcements you want, and whatever camber plates you want. No Ground Controls... they're trying to keep it cheap and simple.

Around here... SCCA club racing is huge and awesome, but has lots of rules and costs alot to be competitive, with lots of bumping/banging and not much seat time per weekend.

BMWCCA club racing is good stuff but there seem to be a lot of people interested in how much they can spend on their cars - which would make things difficult for a budget racer like me.

The NASA Spec E30 group seems to be a nice mix between the SCCA and BMWCCA types of groups/events. And many of the cars are still street legal, which is a good thing :-)

eh, thanks Jon. Nothing like learning about a series I've heard of before.....and realizing the suspension and camber plates are not permitted. :P Oh well.....I'll have to buy a racer for whatever racing I hope to get into, but might as well go to track days with this beast.

Definitely... track days are the most fun you can have in a street BMW with your clothes on
