Power top to manual conversion

I think the power top is pretty cool as long as everything works right. My dads car has a power top and it works fine its just the stitching on the top that is wore out so he needs to help bring the top up and down.Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

You will also need to find a donor car to get the two lower gas spring mounts and the safety catch on the cover. The spot welds will need to be drilled out to remove them. They can be attached with blind rivets.

Very cool. I'm debating on weather or not i should do this because for some reason my tonneau cover doesn't not fully close when the top is down. I'm thinking my frame is bent, but I'm not really sure.
