ok. im a lil slow tonight. wtf are you talking about? you asked for something to make more power with your ETA and a good start is that particular chip. you mentioned something on a cheap. a full motor swap is not cheap. so perhaps explain with a little more clarity what you mean.

I just mean why drop 100 or 200 dollars on this motor if I don't want to keep it. In the end I'd be wasting that 200 dollars. Sure I could resell, but I'd suffer some loss.

I may do a headswap or think about an m50 but I'm not sure.

I know I don't like the m20 that's in there the way it is so I don't want to buy a chip that makes it perform better... but stay the way that it is.

It's kinda of like buying a suspension setup because it's cheap while knowing it's not the ride you really want. I just don't like doing things like that, I'll save the money, figure it out, and get something done in a way that's going to keep me happy for a long time not a few months.

i would think to do a proper headswap you would end up dumping a considerable amount of cash in it. there by defeating use of the word cheap. but i do see where you are coming from.

So more info on my friends now sold e30. He sent me this:

It was something laying around, and he had to put it on something since he was getting rid of it. But you never rode in it, and I have. It is a total fucking beast.

I've ridden in a different e30 with them, mine. suffice to say the only thing the front drivers side shock was good for was a butt plug for blunts latest victim after a month or two
