You want to talk about feeling like a dummy? Yea, I was that guy.

If lucky, the E36 will die peacefully, in its natural habitat, and be given the prestigious honor of donating its parts to an E30

Ouch, that saddens me to see that. I hope you get it nice and perfect again because that is a very nice car.

Sorry to see the prang, but you guys mean to tell me that in America they'd write that off? You fuckers give up too fucking easy!

My mate fucked up on a roundabout, slid backwards over a pair of large metal railings, rolling his Liberty RS Tubo onto its side and it then had a pretty serious engine bay fire. We repaired it by going to a wrecker and cutting the complete side off a non-turbo GX Liberty that had been hit on the opposite side, and then a smash shop stitched her all back together again. Cost under $AUD5k (incl. new hubs, new struts, new control arms, new brakes, new set of wheels, some other body mods)

Check the fucking sill damage on this waffleswaffleswaffleswaffles!

No, we're just intelligent enough to not drive around hacked together chit-boxes. :giggle: But hey, if you're on an island decendent from Criminals, I'm sure things are more lax.

Hacked? WTF? We put that back together better than stock using all the proper materials: masking tape, spit, bog and a super-sticky superglue made from Kangaroo sperm, native grasses and hopes and dreams.

Also, FYI: that car runs on clouds and rainbows. Balla.

PS: the chassis isn't bent until one of the wheels won't touch the ground :p :D

I like your style... but if there isn't a pair of knee high waders and a sheep involved, it's still half arsed!

Its fixable, depending on if you have any bodyshop connections. If youre really screwed and can get it up to south jersey, bring it to my shop and I will have one of my techs work their magic!

Without question. That's exactly how I wrecked my first E30.

Sorry to hear man, but I wouldn't bother trying to fix that. Get a new shell and start swappin' parts.

As I said to Dan, it's a bad week for Diamondschwarz 318is cars. Yours and mine, that's two OG cars that are off the books. If that were mine, I'd make an attempt at banging the sheetmetal to somewhat respectable condition, and go from there.

PS -- Those taillights won't be sold, and if they are, they'll go to the original owner. :)
