What can Low-tec do for you?

This isnt my car, but it has been causing me a great deal of headaches and now that im almost done working on it I thought I would share my disappointment.

The front looks great! (not my shit dump house in the back ground)

The rear is where my problem is... I would of thought that Low-tec's rear drop wouldnt be this low. its stupid low, an alignment nightmare. if this is what your into they deffintly do the job. Im probably gonna stuff as many spring pads as I can get away with to try and get rid of this.

But more than likly the springs will be removed after they eat these junk yard tires.. less talking more pictures.

I dunno I really have mixed feelings about this setup.

lowtech 60/50's with Bilstein HD's in the front. stock in the back for now.
    stock basketweaves on 195/70R14's

    your thoughts and maybe solutions?
    ps: I love Rake.

Solution: if youre concerned about tire wear/alignment... dont lower the car.

you got 60mm drops in the rear and you're surprised that it's low?

How old are your TA bushings?

Low-tecs are known to sag too btw.

sag, thats the word im looking for.

thats what brings me to sharing the dissapointment.

so that anyone considering the setup will be able to see what it looks like.

no shit. Im not concerned. but this would be way way to bad, especially if you have nice tires. I know I know I know.
the TA bushings will be looked at and I will fix it, again I just wanted to share.

is that a 4 cyl? front looks too high IMO.

I have a Lowtec 60/50 setup on my car (vvv) and the rear sits a little higher, even w/o spring pads. Sits perfectly IMO, dunno why yours is different.

your car looks TITS! thats how I wanted it.
no its an m20 car. I know I looked up what it would look like and its not what I wanted it to turn out like. Im gonna add some spring pads and see how it goes, and its 60 *front* 50 *rear* right!
who would want the front lower than the rear.. 50/60 not 60/50 I dunno. enough bitching, off to the junkyard I go.

The reason you would want a 60/50 drop is because the front is much higher than the rear.

Case in point, my car bone stock. Front is much much higher than the rear(this was when I could still take my car rally racing lol)

If you have HD's in the front and stock in the rear, are you sure your shocks aren't blown?

Blown shocks is my guess... why change the fronts and not the rears? it takes literally 15 minutes...... including the time it takes to get the jack from the garage.

the reason your car sits so low in the back is because of the shit stock rear shocks. if you put in bilsteins it would come up a little bit.

blown shocks are never the cause of sagging suspension
