pics from the soggy, foggy & wet Garden State Plaza Meet 3/29/09

this was the first big meet of this year. The weather did not fully cooperate and it was drizzling and cool. Never the less, a lot of cars showed up, I guess people were too excited to finally wake their cars from the winter hibernation.

Also, I guess from now on I will have my own photographer with me most of the times, so 99% of these pics were taken by the 7 year old  he grabbed the camera and just went wild, not bad for his first effort LOL

I showed him how to use the zoom and off he went

the crowd around my car when we pulled in

    Arvin's e30

    Bing's supercharged S50

    a chick owned e46 M3 vert

ver clean W211, I loved it

don't know what kind of car this was but look at the brakes !

it was a car meet, so all sorts of cars were there, not bad at all considering the weather, I think there were at least 200-300 cars

What is on the back of those Civic Hatches bumpers?

These are by "The Brake Man". My friend has them on his E30 M3 race car. Not sure how practical they are for street use but the rotors and calipers look very lightweight. Not very much surface area on those rotors but my friend likes them. I've also seen someone running twin calipers on a single disc. Anyone know if there was ever a kit or just something someone made up to look cool?

I believe the reason for the ports on the rear bumper is to vent air that might be trapped by the rear bumper when in motion but the real reason they have them is to look cool, lol.

"I'd probably take the E30 M3 in this case just because I love that little car, and how tanky that inline 6 is." - thecj

That white e46 and the black e30 vert are my favorites.

It's alright, the "ricers" cars are probably faster then the haters anyways. Hence the hate.
