Performance-wise, the D-Force wheels are impossible to beat. At only 13 lbs, they really allow the car to handle, accelerate, and brake very well. Whatever summer season wheels I ultimately choose as far as "showpiece" wheels aren't going to scratch this itch quite so well, but like you said it will be a nice aesthetic upgrade once I've found the right set. Since there really isn't any better look for an E30, for me at least, than the old-school BBS multi-piece wheel look like the ones you are running on your car, I am sure that it will come as little surprise that I am saving up for something along the lines of an RS or RS2. :)
