Has anyone got good side-by-side shots of the early and late arches? Back in the '80s we had no idea there was any difference between them, and honestly, I still can't picture this. And there's some difference as to when the cabrios? I half-assed searched this before but came up empty.

+1 I feel the same. I also have a soft spot for euro bumpers, but sometimes its just to classy to be aggressive. That's when you turn towards late models. Sometimes they just look like epic beast. :hitler:

Dave, grab a tape measure and measure from the style line to the bottom of the arch. Late models are damn near 1 1/4" lower arches...that is why the bumpers don't swap over.

I prefer the late model body style. just personal presonal preference.

I wouldn't mind an early model with some euro ext goodies thou. I have seen some clean examples lately.
Ditto. I'd like a late model over my early model... Or a plastic bumpered early model would be fine too :)

Looks like it. I didn't even know these could be swapped.

For people who don't know what Jparkr is talking about:
Look at the white ones headlights. The projector headlights are in the high beam spot (inside) and the non projector lights are in the low beam spot (outside). Thats not normal.
