Most of the changes are on the inside - George G. dimmer relay, maplight mirror, new Blaupunkt stereo, analog clock, euro fog switch, gauge package from Parker Performance, mtech door sills, rear seat headrests, foot pedals, e34 leather ebrake handle, cup holder from Bav auto, OEM coin tray in the map pocket, and my favourite change is the leather ebrake boot, shift boot, map pockets, door pulls and grab handles with triple mtech colour stitching from Kevin Chin, they are a really nice touch to the interior. Outside are smoked turns and side markers, second interior trunk light, and the kamei rear spoiler and front windsplitters, I love those. Big thanx to Turk and Levent at GutenParts for letting them go! The wheels are 16" Mila Miglia from the PO and he also installed the Bilstein HD's and H&R OE Sport springs. A sweet short shift kit from the local guys at Nurburgring and a MarkD chip. It's a fun drive. I have a kamei rear apron to add on and then pick up a set of IS skirts. Down the road I want to change the wheels to open lug Alpina's, a Supersprint exhaust and a 3.25 diff and it's done... Maybe an Alpina 4 spoke steering wheel, then it's done...
a little bit too much. on e30's remember, less is more. but then again i dont have room to talk.
True and true....
and as someone mentioned, it's tough to pull off the wind splitters. I think it would need some more period correct mods to make it work. I like the direction you're taking though.....
^i love this car. i agree that black wheels, or wheels with some black might go well with the zender stuff. get rid of the leather wrapped door pulls & map pockets, you can ship them to me & i'll dispose of them for you.

Thanx for the comments guys, appreciate them. The windsplitters do seem to flow better on a black car like Jason's old one above, but I like the contrast, and the fact that there are very few cars using them. Maybe black wheels would help a bit as mentioned. It's my little tribute to the e9 csl, my favourite car. I'm putting my touches on it and I like the way it looks and feels, without going overboard and ruining the lines. I don't think it's too much at all. Just the side and rear skirts to finish it off.
