    I don't buy that the rods are cast on the N55, but afaik the N55 had much less overkill in fuelling and general strength.

    I thought that some versions of the n55 had forged cranks, like in the 135is and 335is, plus upgraded intercoolers or something also.

    Luckily the e60s did not get the n55 even at the end of the gen. I’m on the look out for a 2010 m sport 535xi. I’d consider selling my e30 if the “perfect” one came up. Good buy! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
