    Ambers, Ronals, & No Drop

Pretty much describes my car in a nutshell. Figured that since I hadn't washed my car in a month and installed my new spoiler last week, it was grounds for a quick and unprofessional photoshoot.

    Answers to Inevitable questions:

    1) Yes, its a 1988. So its a bumper swap car.
    2) Lachsilber or Salmon Silver, which ever you want to call it.
    3) I do have plans for a drop, I already have Bilstein Sports in the garage, now I'm in the market to buy springs.
    4) 15 x 7.5 Ronal LS. Wrapped on Kumho Ecsta. Yes, I hate the tires. Falken 912 coming up around summer.
    5) Thats an OEM M-Tech I spoiler

I love every part of it. If I had an all stock e30 that looked that good it would be almost wrong to lower it.

I love this car-I really do. It is almost a shame to lower it, but in the end I think I would have to do it.

H&R Sports for sure-you don't want the Race springs on this car.

That car is in unbelievable condition. Don't change a thing, even the ride height looks good.

Did you do the bumper swap? If so, how difficult was changing to late model tails? I hate the look of early model tails, and would love to upgrade since I'm in the middle of swapping bumpers anyway.

And those are late model tails, and lower valence.

Granted I've never seen anyone swap tails, but if his is really an early model with lates, I'd like to try.

Does it not have late model lower rear arches :p

                        Still not getting it?

Okay, in 88 the first face lift cars came out.

In the states, they came with diving boards.

The bumper swap refers to them being swapped for plastics, which, on the 88 cars, is as simpe as 1, 2, 3.

1988 was a special year in that the e30s had late model tail lights, but the big metal bumpers. Swapping the bumpers is pretty straight forward.

Here is a picture of the car the way I purchased it in Nov 2007:
