Okay, in 88 the first face lift cars came out.

In the states, they came with diving boards.

The bumper swap refers to them being swapped for plastics, which, on the 88 cars, is as simpe as 1, 2, 3.

I'm not trying to e-fight you, I'm just asking a question. I didn't know that 88's had DBs and late model tails. I am familiar with PB/DB swaps, my car is swapped.

1988 was a special year in that the e30s had late model tail lights, but the big metal bumpers.
