I worked front to back... Completed tonight:

    Filled coolant
    Replaced leaking oil feed fitting
Added foam seal around hood to help close the gap a bit, looks good
Installed lockstrip in windshield gasket (PAIN!)
Added return spring to my accelerator pedal assembly
Trimmed under dash panel so there is no contact at WOT
Added 5th point to driver's side harness
Installed passenger side door release trim
    Installed upper B Pillar trim
Blacked out and installed rear quarter window trim
    Installed rear glass lockstrip
Installed battery hold down that I made yesterday

    What's left:
    Install wheels
Install inner door weatherstripping (coming tomorrow)
    Install driveshaft

I have a tuning appointment on Thursday.

It's just a velour wrapped round knob. I think I am going to re-do it in orange...

It will first have to leave the garage on a trailer to go to the dyno. That's all dependent on when I get my driveshaft... and insurance. That may be a fiasco...

Well, the guitar and the drumming is awesome. I just cant get over the singers and how shitty they sound.
maybe if I heard good hardcore band, one where the singer didn't ruin everything I would have a more open mind.

But still, what does hardcore have to do with straight edge anyways?
I never understood why straightedge kids tried so hard to be 'metal' and 'punk' Shouldn't all you non-drinking, no drugs, no poison kids be listening to classical or something.
Meh, i had to ease into the vocals but i like it now. I try and stay on the metal side, not really too into punk. But anyways like said above hxc and straightedge often go hand in hand, although i personally am not straight edge

More raw music = more raw vocals. You cannot compare power metal to punk at all. I am actually kind of curious as to what band you heard made you judge all hardcore punk bands this way. I hope it isn't any god awful metal-core stuff mistaken for hardcore punk.

The straight edge thing can be summed up pretty easily. Minor threat is a hardcore punk band that essentially coined the term 'straight edge'. So you could imagine there would be direct correlation between kids who listen to Minor Threat and being straight edge. I don't exactly try hard to be 'metal' per say, but I do love the music. In fact, it is basically all I have ever listened to. I mean, my top two favorite bands of all time are Death and Sepultura (pre-roots), but I definitely do not look the part; seeing how I like to smell good and wear nice clothes. I regularly attend symphonies too. I feel like I may have just squashed your attempt to be cynical of people who are straight edge and listen to hardcore.

This will contradict myself... but lets keep this out of his thread. Definitely not relevant to his car.

I'm not seriously trying to push it on you, just an idea. Wish I had access to fab tools like that, plus I'd rather spend ~$30 (hell even $50 is less hard to swallow) than $80 on 3 tiny plastic gears to fix the odo on my $240 eta.
