Like in materials, or per print? If one of those knobs is $100 in plastic/machine time, a tiny odo gear is probably $5. :p
I'm not seriously trying to push it on you, just an idea. Wish I had access to fab tools like that, plus I'd rather spend ~$30 (hell even $50 is less hard to swallow) than $80 on 3 tiny plastic gears to fix the odo on my $240 eta.

the printer builds in .0006" layers, so it's pretty accurate.
However, it's also expensive. Each of those knobs costs about 100 dollars...Leave a comment:

I'm not sure how precise those printers are, but if you've got access to one and are decent at drawing up quick models, you could probably print up some odometer gears that people would definitely buy as they're like $25 a pop elsewhere (shit, I need a set).Leave a comment:

That 3-D printer is pretty fucking badass! Love the shift know collection!

This car is so outlandish, I can't wait to see it finished! :D
Too bad you had to destroy that Mtech1 valence for the intercooler, it's my only qualm with the car... :(Leave a comment:

Indianapolis is hell. The weather is terrible, most people can't drive here, there's nothing to do at night, and the amount of potholes is rediculous. I hate Indiana.Leave a comment:
