Wow, for such an insanely fast car with tons of work, it sure looks ugly.

Yea, but the ugly is a running theme, so it's cool.
Plus there's gotta be that extra bit of satisfaction when you can walk a 600hp muscle car in a 20yo car with a Scooby Doo paint scheme.

I can't go. The trans is out of the car... the input shaft was making some noise, I want to be proactive about it, because GTR cases aren't exactly simple to come by, so I can replace a 20 dollar bearing now or risk windowing the case later...

I might jump in a car with someone, it's unlikely I'll take the lotus, though. :(

              Sorry for the letdown, everyone.

Let us know how you get on with feeding a speed signal into the ViPEC, I also have a V88, but won't get any time to play with it until later this year :(

How do you find the DEI Titanium wrap? I'm tossing up between that and Heatshield Products inferno wrap.

                    The titanium wrap is awesome...

Feeding the speed signal in is simple, it's already done. Just use a 5v power supply with a 1K pull-up resistor to one side of the speed sensor and ground the other side (use a sensor ground, not a chassis ground). Tap the ecu speed signal in between the resistor and the sensor, so that it pulls to ground when the sensor is closed...

                    simple as that.

From the diff sensor? Thanks for that - be good to get it on my aimdash.

I was talking about wheel speed though - for traction/launch control :)

                          Wheelspeed should be pretty easy.

I'm looking into retrofitting 2x ABS wheel speed sensors. I have to get under a E30 with ABS to have a look how it's all setup though.
