just check your car for rust. under the carpets, bumpers, battery tray, front and rear fenders around the wheels where water and dirt collect, and a few other places. but those are some of the mane ones. its probably not bad, but if it is you are not going to want to drop a bunch of money into the car.

And rust isn't that hard to fix. And not all rust is an iceberg. Alot of rust is surface rust. But the rust in your battery tray is most likely iceberg-like.

The best way to deal with rust is the same way people deal with cancer. Give it huge doses of radiation.

No just kidding but seriously cut off the rusted metal completely and weld in new metal. That's the only way to fix deep rust. Surface rust you can grind to bare metal and re primer and body fill and paint.

don't waste your time w/ rust inhibitor shit. Sure it inhibits the rust that it is in contact with but the rust underneath will just keep spreading.
