    Did you sand the mirrors and b pillars prior to the SEM

      So you would recommend going with the 4 clutch? I am working on a 3 clutch right now, but I am on the fence about going ahead and doing the machining for 4. I bought three new clutches and have a low mile 3.23 m3 diff, so I could definitely use a clutch out of it for #4. I roasted my stock clutches after about 3 minutes of s54 shenanigans :(

                    What A great Thread. Just finished going through all 57 pages. Is it just me or is every Cirrus Blue E30 have a faded hood and roof lol mine does.

                      Well upon some reflection, I think it was mainly "giving up" when I was flat and jumping berms, or some other huge load differential. When I drove Fred's S54 car on RS3s, a 3 clutch diff was adequate. That said, if you are running some large slicks, I'd do the 4 clutch and consider some ramps. Even if it was "adequate" for me, my slicks were small and heat cycled and I've got half the power.

                        Visited Santa Barbara and my CV joint failed.





                        One end of the axle turns, the other doesn't.

                        Big thanks to balleristic31 for hooking it up with an axle off his parts car and help installing the axle. Fixing whee30 on the street in Santa Barbara made me super nostalgic.
