Alright so I got my quote back from VAC Motorsports and they want 3100.00 dollars! F That. Josh put me in touch with the shop he works at that does all in house machining for the rare maseratis and such that they rebuild and they said $1500.00 including parts. So it looks like the engine will be going there for a rebuild (I am capable of building the motor myself, but it puts me at ease to let a pro do it, plus then I have someone to blame :) ). At this point I decided im going balls the wall and will be ordering Eagles H-Beam Rods and Wiseco 8.8:1 Compression pistons to ensure this engine is built well enough for the boost I plan on running. Money is tight, but hopefully through some side jobs I got going and my regular income, I can have the engine ready by spring.
