Yeah in a way...I always just wanted something a little more durable than paint. I was going to use this brand named "herucliner" but the shit is like 30 dollars a quart so I had to pass on that

Cool car and project. I wish you would have taken more care on spraying that door wiht primer though. With only that little bit of tape, you likely got overspray on the car. Also, you should have removed the door handle... it's two screws and takes 30 seconds. When you paint the door you should just pull it off the car and take care of it properly.

Otherwise, nice work. I'm just through the first page at the moment.

Wasnt worried about overspray....the whole car is getting resprayed

Small update..I was livid when i walked out to the car today...it seems the the hood prop bolt slid out and the prop went into the hood....causing some damage !#@$%....Its not horrible just more money to be spent at the body shop.

Made sure the back seat area and rear deck lid were completely clean...then went out to pepboys and picked up some spray on truck bedliner. Its textured and pretty tough stuff...I plan an spraying most of the interior with it.


It wont stay black, picked up some white paint also, but I ran out of daylight. Yes I know there is some overspray on the rear window...not worried about it, it comes right off with a towel and some goof off

Next step is to spray that all white. Then move to the floors and do that to them.
