today sucked. today i went to the airport and after godfather and i did some measurements some evaluating and a little bit of cutting we found that my plenum will have to be remade and the throttle bodies will have to be spaced out to the same spacing as the intake manifold. we made some extenders for the throttle linkages and tomorrow we will be making the spacers for the throttle bodies. i will redo the plenum sometime next weekend - i think.

today godfather and i finished up the modifications to the throttlebodies. i bought some nylon spacers which we modified and then we finished modifying the throttle linkages. unfortunately the camera battery died so i wasn't able to take a lot of pics





this is the final product (i didn't notice this when i took the pic but in the bottom of the pic there is a sketch of the design we made


in this design the throttle bodies will be inline to the manifold. sometime this week i will do a new plenum and i have a better (easier) design

the spacing issue i was pretty sure could be overcome by the flex in the silicone hose unfortunately the hose is far less flexibe than the modshop that sold it to me explained it was. but oh well. it's pretty much done. gotta go get some hose and a shitload of hose clamps and then this part will be done. this weekend (hopefully) i will start on the new plenum using mild steel.
