    i got moving on the main part of the plenum but the damn air compressor hates the cold so it's not entirely done but it will be tomorrow.

    The only thing you said that has anything to do with a real CO2 setup is well the CO2. Real CO2 is run exactly like NOS, and used for the exact same reason. To cool the incoming air. A real set up would have nothing to do with the airbox or an intercooler. I guess you were just refering to how you would do it, you know, to get the most power out of that mostly stock m20.

    Yeah, from what i've come to see this thread is like a post whore haven that doesn't get locked. It's in a section that doesn't get tons of traffic, there is some slight talk about E30s (but nothing gets done,) and the rest is simply OT posts about whatever. I just hate seeing the damn thread title from all the senseless bumps it gets.

    What i'm trying to say is. . . I want in.

    Yahoo, serious question about your intake design. Are you just designing for a specific plenum volume or are you trying to maximize the flow gains for a specific rpm band? Genuinely curious.

    the new plenum is designed with air velocity moreso in mind. i'm taking a 3 inch pipe that i put a 30 degree bend in, (could have used a bending robots help lol) then i am going to remove a section out of it (opposite of the bend) where i'll install a peice of flatstock with 6 individual runners coming off of it.

    i chose 3 inch because the intercooler piping is 3 inch therefore it will be a smooth-ish transition. the flat side should help to keep pressure up and will also just be a shitload easier to make.
