Keep it up. I would have gone with a satin black block, aluminum color oil pan, wrinkle black valve cover and intake manifold with logos sanded down and polished for a professional look, but I guess an all blue motor is cool. Just give the motor more contrast. The blue by be over powering when you open your hood up to show off your hard work.

today was a mixed bag of damn near no progress... first of all i recieved a few packages in the mail today (still many more to come) but i did recieve about half of what i ordered so far and these are what my pix are of today. then in the process of leaning over to set everything in place i threw my back out. my (very disabled) roommate and travis actually had to carry me to my room and put me on my bed until the percocets took effect. i am currently alittle bit woozy but in much less pain (still a mild throb) in any case later i will make my way over to the machine shop and supply him with the necessary items in order for him to finish. maybe later i will disassemble the tranny but i'll probably just do nothing more than drop stuff off at the machine shop.

f#@*ing parts companies...
today i called up BMP design because i still have yet to recieve just about anything from them. and come too find out it won't be here until tomorrow and whats more is that my koni (rear) shocks are on back order until september 15th so now i get to sit around and play the waiting game waiting for parts. the good news is that the machine shop says they will have everything ready for pickup when i go over there in a few hours. oy vei

well the machine shop is the TITS they actually assembled the head and polished the rockers and assembled / glass beeded the pistons and pins and just well everything they were done so we picked up the parts and that was all that really got done today. i discovered that i made a mistake in parts i ordered e bearings for the e crank but used i main caps and therefore i have a slight issue. i have decided to clean the e main caps and go from there i'll just end up using them. either way oh well whats done is done.

Dude, just a suggestion... Open a photobucket account (www.photobucket.com it is free), load images there and post them here like I just did below. You may get more interest in your thread if people can follow your work without having to click so many image links.
