i realized i need to add some in progress pics for anyone who might possibly be interested so here goes this is time elapsed of 2 days-ish progress.

weight reduction - stage 1 lol

weight redux 1 stage redux close up lol

for those of you wanting to know the front end suspension is stiff as hell and this is how high it sits set to max firmness (gottta love fully adjustables)

natalie done got her groove back

the only things left to do now are get studs foor the exhaust manifold, fix the tranny issue, wheel alignment, engine breakin, and rear suspension. maybe forced induction. frankly as far as i am concerned this was a mission success she runs pretty good and the torque comes on at only about 2000 rpms (i am surprised) she actually started right away without any real issues. i thought maybe with the pistons sitting 1mm below the deckheight of the block she'd be underpowered but i am pleased to say she wasn't she actually had about as much power if not maybe more than before (i cannot confirm this because she isn't broken in yet and i refuse to lay into her until she is) frankly 1 way or the other the torque is ... amazing it actually comes on at just 2000 rpms i didn't try roasting her wheels off but she did have torque.

thank you for reading and stay tuned for more updates (likely to be more sparse than previously)

today was interesting, i started the day having put about 20 miles on the car, (no problems except the exhaust leak). right about the time i hit mile 70ish the car developed a hesitation of sorts (anything over 2000rpm). i immediately pulled over i found out that 2 sparkplug wires were loose but this didn't entirely solve the problem i now have 90 miles on this engine and it still hesitates i think i may need to check the plugs and the oxygen sensor but frankly i have no idea what the problem actually is.

      does anyone have any ideas???

todayy i woke up late and found it rained last night/this morning this is a problem because i had not put the hood back on and so my entire engine bay was soaked.

so today i went and fixed the exhaust leak. and checked the sparkplugs confirmed that i was running rich but nothing different acrossed the board.

i think i found the issue with the revving and whatnot i started unplugging sensors until i could go through the whole rpm band and i think that the issue is a bad AFM. i can run without it but its rough and frankly i would rather do a miller MAF conversion.

so today i went to the junk yard and got a new AFM i cannot wait to get my MAF sensor conversion but until then this is what i have. in anycase she runs great and the torque is just amazing, i have yet to fix the tranny so that is next on the priorities list, though i still have no power windows - i'll be off to the junkyard again hopefully the switch is bad if not i don't even know where to start i replaced the general module and the other module under the rear seat but this didn't fix the problem and i have yet too figure out the problem with the OBC but i think this is all related to a bad relay or electrical short - possibly a combo of all of the above. in anycase NATALIE LIVES - AGAIN!!!!!!!

today was a terrible and a great day. i couldn't sleep because of a femaale interest in my life (go figure) and well i get to class with only a few hours of sleep only to find out class gets cancelled. so as i'm driving all of a sudden there is this terrible grinding noise coming from the brakes after removing the wheel i find that the bottom caliper bracket bolt is missing so i took an extra flywheel bolt i haad laying around and put it in for now. then once i got home ups showed up THE REAR KONI'S ARE HERE so natturally i rushed to my local auto shop and had them installed along with the new ureathane swaybar bushings. then i drove down to a local tuner shop to get some ideas for my turbo setup and holy freaking hell is the suspension TIGHT whats more is that all of a sudden my windows were working when i got home they stopped working so i decided to remove all fuses (for absolutely no reason) then magically the obc shut off when the key was out and all of everything works again PROPERLY. WTF!!!!!!

I AM EXPERIENCING TOTAL WEIRDNESS RIGHT NOW. i am having issues with the windows and have come to find that mmore than likely the ignition cylinder is going bad - looks like push button is in my future (oh yay - i am not excited)

so i figured it's time for an update i love my KONI'S the chassis preload is the weirdest sensation ever but totally worth it, whats more is that last night i went to the local tuner gathering and was talking and then a pair of mustang guys and a few mexican tuner guys challenged me to do some donuts and drifting - well - i couldn't freaking believe it my baby has not only enough power to drift and do donuts but she was the best of the 3 i started with a donut then drifted into a donut then drifted into a power drift and then parked. i will have video of this next weekend (sooner if the guy who filmed it e-mails me the video but i'll probably have to wait til saturday next week but rest assured i will post it. oh and then i ended up having an issue that was new - my shift linkage came undone a total of 27 times between midnight and 10:00 this morning i got the new clip from the junkyard and it took me like 40 minutes to get that lil thing in (there is no space and i don't have small hands) but wow my baby really does have some power oh and then i ran a stock 5.0 mustang convertible and won by 2 lengths. i am so loving my natalie

um yeah...you would think that seeing the end result you would recognize that i have some skills and knowledge and that's probly where i started, the thing is when i removed them there was some water in the cylinder and then when i pulled the head off i found more water than expected frankly i mean why would u think i would start at pulling the head off? and whats more its a moot point knowing the status of the bearings check the pix if u have questions

okay now i was definately suprised that this video was so hard to actually post to this site (there is no info on how to do so in the FAQ) and subsequently i just screwed around until it worked in any case i promised the video and here it is enjoy and let me know what you think. when the turbo goes on it should be a little bit (okay maybe a lot) more impressive

i do appologize that the quality is low i didn't bring a camera and the one used is not great. i had not planned to do this

oh and in case you wanted to know i launched at 3000 rpm
